Vendor FAQs
Maker's Market CLT produces curated indoor and outdoor retail events featuring a revolving group of artisans and vendors. We pride ourselves on showcasing Charlotte's talented makers, artisans, and creators. By emphasizing local small businesses who craft, create, and design an array of fashion, homewares, skincare, decor, and more, we provide a unique shopping experience each and every time you visit our markets.

Most of our venues are pet-friendly! If you are unsure about whether or not pets are welcomed at certain breweries we pop up at, please contact the brewery to confirm.
In some cases, our markets are hosted inside of restaurants, in which case pets may not be welcomed inside. Always check with the venue if you're unsure.
At Maker's Market CLT events you’ll find: handmade jewelry, contemporary artisanal and upcycled fashion, small batch bath and body care, hand crafted ceramics, home furnishings, and locally made food, drinks, and spirits. Oftentimes you’ll also find live music, and various other activities and activations.
Apply to be a vendor on our website, www.makersmarketclt.com, (www.makersmarketclt.com,)and apply to specific events you're interested in vending at, then wait for our response to confirm your participation.

Our approval process varies depending on the coordinator assigned to the market. However, a few things remain the same -
We select our vendors based on whether or not your products are handmade.
Vendor slots are typically first-come first-served per product-type, and we limit the number of vendors we accept for each product-type category. For example, if you're the third jewelry vendor to apply, you may be placed on our waitlist for that market.
We curate each market individually, aiming to have the best mix of vendors for each location. We select vendors based on quality, consistency, compatibility with the venue and its shopper demographics, and overall fit with our market.
We try our best to limit overlap and competition in an effort to create a well-rounded experience for our vendors and shoppers alike.
You'll receive an email from one of our coordinators to let you know that you've been accepted into the market(s) you've applied for. Your spot is deemed yours only once payment has been made. We will never text you to ask for payment for our markets.
Be sure to add our coordinators' email addresses to your safe-sender list to keep us from going to your spam box:
